CData Connect for business users, thoughts?

I’m curious to hear how folks are using CData Connect, in particular on-prem in a business setting.  It seems one need we keep running across is that non-technical folks want to be able to download their data to Excel.  So often what they’ll do is have someone create a Tableau Dashboard and publish it to Tableau Server, but then they ignore the dashboard and go straight to the “Download” button to send the data to Excel.  But then because Tableau is inflexible they rarely like what Tableau gives them so they end up having to do a lot of manual work to get to what they really need.  I’m imagining that CData Connect could eliminate the middle man, so that if someone with enough SQL knowledge could define the SQL query, then it could be made available on CData Connect for anyone that has rights to access it and they could download the data that they need in the format they desire.  Other more technical folks might have the alternative of doing the same sort of thing using Toad or similar

CreateCustomReportSchema Stored Procedure fails for Report of Customer aging header object

When I attempt to create a custom report schema using the CreateCustomReportSchema Stored Procedure in Connect Cloud, I am immediately faced with an error of “The query failed with the following error: [XXX] . Object type CUSTAGINGHEADER not found [Support ID: A7zYCWEB031%7EaBE82P4709e47gZ-UY9JLgAAABg].” How do I resolve this?

Connect Cloud - How to open and return data from a specific csv file saved in a sharepoint folder?

Hi Community!I’m trying to create a source to sharepoint where we can navigate to a specific file saved on the sharepoint location and open the contents of a csv or xlsm file. Is this possible? I have the sharepoint connection created using AzureAD authentication method. Using a query such as this:  SELECT * FROM [Sharepoint_testing].[REST].[Financial Models] where Name like '%.xlsm%' I can get the various file names contained in the Sharepoint location, and see things like file size, modify date, etc. At this point, I can’t figure out how to use the file name retrieved and then query it to get at the contents of it… any help with this?  TIA for the assist, i appreciate it.

Power automate Limitations on CDATA Cloud

I am currently working on a Power Automate flow that fetches transaction line data from Exact Online using the CDATA Cloud connector. The goal is to group the data based on GLAccountCode while retrieving the minimum (LeastFinancialYear) and maximum (HighestFinancialYear) financial years. Below is the SQL query being executed:SELECT GLAccountCode, MIN(FinancialYear) AS LeastFinancialYear,  MAX(FinancialYear) AS HighestFinancialYear  FROM [ExactOnline1].[3243703].[TransactionLines]  GROUP BY GLAccountCode; Since this query processes a large dataset, it takes a considerable amount of time to execute. However, Power Automate has a 2-minute timeout limitation for SQL queries, causing the flow to fail before retrieving the results.I would appreciate any guidance on optimizing the query or any best practices to handle large dataset processing efficiently within Power Automate. Cdata Connect Cloud custom report using Netsuite Saved Search continues to exclude data

I created a custom report that we’re using as a source in a Power BI semantic model. The intent is that our financial controller developed the Saved Search in Netsuite to grab the transactions desired. With that as a data source, we should be able to reconcile pretty quickly and shouldn’t see variances between the Saved Search results in Netsuite and the data pulled in Connect Cloud - however that’s not the case.Initially this data exclusion seemed to be limited to Credit Card transactions - a relatively small number, around 3000 rows. I created a work-around to get the transactions into our data model, but i’m encountering the issue again with transactions that seem to be standard Journal Entries. My initial through was perhaps this was a permissions issue and maybe the access token created uses a restricted account - when i set it up it was the first time, i didn’t really know what i was doing, etc… SO i created a new token using the Netsuite account I use to run the saved search (Ac

Cdata connect cloud (NetSuite connector): Unable to retrieve columns for table []

Hi all,We are using Cdata connect cloud to pulling data from NetSuite via SuiteQL API. However, for some tables like budgetmachine, cdata through error as  “Unable to retrieve columns for table [budgetsMachine]”. By checking the NetSuite RestAPI log, Cdata is actually successfully reaching to the NetSuite endpoint to pull the data.As per our team, permission issue may not be the case because “budgets” table which requires same level permission as “Budgetmachine” have no issue to load.   Have any one encountered similar issue before? Any thoughts would be appreciate!

I have two requirements related to data tracking and retrieval: Tracking Classification Code Changes: I need to track any changes or modifications made to the Classification Codes in Exact Online. Specifically, I want to retrieve all rows where changes have occurred in the Classification Codes. anyone trying to connect Hubspot and Intacct to PowerBI?

Stumbled on these guys https://datablend.com/customers but they’re only Inacct into Hubspot, and we recently had a user in Connect Cloud purchase for Intacct and Hubspot into PowerBI and other destinations. Is this something other people are trying to solve? Any interest in analyzing Hubspot and Intacct data?

Netsuite Saved Search results not displaying in Connect Cloud

I’ve got something stumping me… In Connect Cloud, i set up a custom report to use a NetSuite Saved Search. When executing the Saved Search in NS, the results display fine and as expected. When i use Connect Cloud to call the Saved Search - it displays the columns properly prior to execution, but the execution results show 0 rows. in NS, there are a total of 1935 rows.  I’m not sure what barrier lies between the Saved Search and the Connect Cloud custom report results - but something between those two seems to be preventing the results from coming into Connect Cloud. What should I check?

Intermittent Query failures to NetSuite - also, new to Cdata Connect Cloud

I wanted to reach out regarding some issues I'm having with a NetSuite integration in our CData Connect Cloud instance. The failures seem to be intermittent, some queries using the same connection work, others do not. I wanted to see if there were methods I could use to have better success rates or if others had experienced similar issues? Given that NetSuite is our ERP system, and the inconsistent failures (sometimes the same query will complete successfully, other times it won’t - i suspect it could just be that during the work day, there simply aren’t enough resources and the queries get rejected.We’re using Power BI for semantic model development, and Connect Cloud as the intermediary between Power BI and NetSuite.  In our Sandbox environment, so such issues or failures occur when attempting to refresh the semantic model.An example of a failure I received today is below: SELECT [NetSuite_Suitetalk_Prod].[SuiteTalk].[EBC_PandL_JEs_and_Status].[basic_status] AS [basic_status] FROM [N

How to Optimize Data Integration Performance on a Rack Server Environment?

Hi everyone,I'm currently working on setting up a robust data integration solution using CData's drivers in a corporate environment, and I'm encountering some challenges in optimizing performance. Our infrastructure includes a mix of cloud and on-premises data sources, and we're using a  rack server setup for the on-prem data center. The server hosts multiple virtual machines that are running data connectors to sync data with our cloud-based systems.The issue I'm facing is data throughput and latency. Deleted Reporting Balance Row Track

Reason for ID change in Reporting Balance

5 days back  I get rows from Reporting balance and stored in one excel again I fetch same rows from reporting balance but i noticed that ID is changed for some rows Eg :228473716 where previously for one row but the same row ID is differed now like 2284765654Based on GLAccountCode Division and Reporting year I am fetching the rows any reason for this ? how to track this which row is changed ?Thanks

I have GL Account Classification Mapping In Dataverse Table i used automation to pull data from Exact online and pushed data into dataverse .
