Hi everyone,

I’m currently encountering some performance issues with my system, which features a 13th Gen Intel processor and is running the CDATA ODBC Driver (Version 21.0). The specific problems I’m facing include slow performance when querying databases, occasional errors when attempting to retrieve or write data, and sometimes the system just hangs while using the CDATA driver. I’ve tried several troubleshooting steps, but the issue persists.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

  • Reinstalling the CDATA ODBC Driver (Version 21.0) and making sure it is properly configured.
  • Updating all system drivers and BIOS settings for the 13th processor.
  • Ensuring the system is running the latest software updates and patches.
  • Testing the CDATA ODBC Driver (Version 21.0) with different databases to rule out database-specific issues.

Despite these efforts, the system still experiences significant performance degradation, especially when handling large data sets or executing complex queries. The 13th Gen Intel processor is performing fine with other tasks, but the problem seems to occur specifically when the CDATA ODBC Driver is in use.

Has anyone else had similar problems with the CDATA ODBC Driver (Version 21.0) when paired with a 13th Gen Intel processor? Any advice on other troubleshooting steps or configurations that might help resolve the issue?

I would greatly appreciate any insights or suggestions that could help improve performance and ensure stable operation with this setup.

Hi. I doubt your processor is involved in your issues here. Let’s start off by saying that you should upgrade from v21. I think the drivers are at v24 right now.

Please clarify:

  • Which ODBC Driver you are using? (QuickBooks, Google Drive, Sage Intacct etc..)
  • In which tool you’re using the ODBC driver (SQLDBX, Excel, SQL Server etc..)

Can you replicate any of these issues? If so, what would be a query that is causing issues for you?
