When using our JDBC Drivers or Tableau Connectors, we recommend using the Connection Builder to easily build and test your connection string. When attempting to first open the Connection Builder you may run into one of these errors in the screenshots below:

If you run into this error, that is because your machine does not have Java installed. Once you install Java, then the Connection Builder should open and work.
