Let’s make the CData Community a great experience for everyone. We’ve established these simple guidelines to ensure all members are on the same page.

  1. Be yourself.
Speak for yourself and not for others. Don’t post something that doesn’t belong to you or that might infringe on someone’s intellectual property.
  2. Be respectful of fellow members.
Odds are your fellow community members are here for the same reasons you are. Please be polite and respectful of one another. No harassment of any kind will be tolerated.
  3. Search before asking.
Your question might have already been answered! Make sure you search before posting to avoid duplications. Mark answers as “Accepted Solution” and “Like” helpful comments.
  4. No spam, profanity, or rudeness.
This is self-explanatory. Simply put, be nice!
  5. Remember where you are.
Posts, discussions, messages, and ideas should pertain in some way to this community. No solicitation or promotions of your own services.
  6. Steer clear of pricing talk.
We welcome healthy conversations around the market and where it’s headed, but out of respect for our Community, please refrain from discussing CData’s pricing or making comparisons with competitors.
  7. No fake IDs.
Sign up for an account and start posting only as yourself, never as someone else – real or fake. Each user is only permitted one account. If the Community Team detects a secondary account, it will be banned.
  8. If there’s a problem, let us know.
Not everything always goes as planned.  If there’s a problem, we’d like to know and help. Email us at: community@cdata.com.
