CData DBAmp

We are experiencing intermittent failures with DBAmp RefreshAll jobs across random tables following our Hyperforce migration.We engaged DBAmp Support, and their analysis indicates that the HTTP callouts are occasionally returning empty responses with Query Timeout Exceptions. They suggested that this could be related to firewall or network configuration issues, particularly due to the expanded range of IP addresses used in Hyperforce.To address this, we implemented domain-based whitelisting rather than IP-based rules, allowing:*.force.com *.salesforce.com *.salesforce-setup.comBased on the tables we are querying, these domains appear to be appropriate, as per salesforce help page. However, the issue persists intermittently.Has anyone encountered similar issues post-Hyperforce migration? If so, what was the root cause and resolution? Any guidance or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.Note: The Salesforce Org is using custom domain.

I am trying to upgrade from to the latest version 2025. When I start my job, I get the following error message “Could not get the allow dB amp to run remotely registry setting”. It does seem we have this particular registry setting that might be different from others.  

After upgrading to the latest version of CPQ in salesforce the DBAMP software started sending tens of thousands of API calls to the platform.There are no sync jobs running, there are no daemon sessions in task manager.I cant figure out what is consuming all fo these API calls.

i get error when trying to pull down application data that changed in last 4 days. Getting the below error in Prod OLE DB provider "DBAmp.DBAmp" for linked server "SALESFORCE_LS" returned message "Error 5103 : Error: Zipped response from salesforce was missing valid zip header.". [SQLSTATE 01000]

 We are on DBAmp version  4.1.8.We have a SQL Server Agent job running daily on our test org. After Salesforce Winter ‘26 was applied to the org, we started getting the following failure message. How can we resolve this? OLE DB provider "DBAmp.DBAmp" for linked server "SALESFORCE" returned message "Error 5103 : Error: Zipped response from salesforce was missing valid zip header.".Msg 7303, Level 16, State 1, Line 1Cannot initialize the data source object of OLE DB provider "DBAmp.DBAmp" for linked server "SALESFORCE". 

We are upgrading from DBAMP v.4.1.8 to v.22.  Because we are restricted from using xp_cmdshell, most of our SQL Server Agent jobs run sf_replicate.  If I’m understanding the documentation correctly, we won’t be able to call sf_replicate directly on v.22.  The CMDEXEC looks like this on 4.1.8:  '"C:\Program Files\DBAmp\DBAmpNet2.exe" replicate pkchunk,batchsize(25000) Account MyServerName  MyDatabase SALESFORCE'Will the call have to look something like this on v.22? "C:\Program Files\CData\CData DBAmp\bin\DBAmpAZ.exe" MirrorCopy Account MyServerName MyDataBase SALESFORCE pkchunk,batchsize(25000)  

We’ve recently upgraded to the latest version of dbamp. Since doing so we are constantly seeing the following error on one of sf objects when we bring it down to SQL via the “exec sf_refresh” command. Executing the query "DECLARE @IncludeArchiveDeleted  BIT, @Table VARCHA..." failed with the following error: "Cannot fetch a row from OLE DB provider "MSOLEDBSQL" for linked server "SalesForce_ls".". Possible failure reasons: Problems with the query, "ResultSet" property not set correctly, parameters not set correctly, or connection not established correctly.   We only get this error on this one particular object. Task is probably the largest object in salesforce whose data we bring down locally to our SQL environment. Any help would be very much appreciated. When attempting to use SF_Metadata to retrieve metadata from CustomField, the MetadataXML column is never populating. The Member and Id columns are populating when I use the List operation, and executing the proc with the Retrieve operation appears to succeed, but the MetadataXML column remains NULL.CustomObject and the other tooling objects I’ve worked with have worked fine.This behavior is not confined to a single org. Hi Everyone,I have a scenario to use Azure Managed SQL Instances and these are not supported for DBAmp because they do not allow the installation of 3rd-party linked servers on the Instance. So I am trying to install dbamp remotely - to a on-prem SQL server virtual machine. We will create a Azure SQL managed instance where data will be stored. - DBInstanceDbAmp will be configured as linked server  in a on premise virtual machine with SQL server installed. - DBAmpServer I have two questions:Can we run DBAmp from DBAmpServer to move the data from DBInstance to Salesforce? The article DBAmp - Running DBAmp Remotely (cdata.com) mentions the other way around, but we need a bi-direction data transfer between DBInstance and Salesforce. I just noticed the EOL announcement for  CData DBAmp versions prior to v22 on this page.  My organization is still on version 4.1.8. I’m interpreting this announcement to mean that version 4.1.8 will continue to work as long as we have a valid license key.  So it will still be running on say, 1/31/2025.  Is this correct? I keep getting surprised by these announcements.  Besides coming to the CDATA site and browsing around, how can I stay up to date on important news?I WILL be talking to my manager about upgrading to the most current version ASAP, but we will need time for lots of testing.

I have a SQL agent job running SF_Mirror for a single object every 15min. When the job runs I can see the DBAmpAZ.exe process restart and I get CPU spikes to 80-100% for the duration of the run.  The job generally runs in about 30 sec.Is there anything I can do to cap its CPU usage, or anything I can look at changing to prevent it from spiking that high? 

Is it possible to create DBAmp linked server for two salesforce instance in single SQL server with latest DBAmp setup? Seems like there is no option to configure two product key in DBAmp Config2. There was option to set it up in DBAmp v_59109. 

is DBAmp v_50109 supported on SQL Server 2022 with Windows OS 2022? The linked server is not working on it. Same is working fine on SQL Server 2016.
