Regarding attachments, you should be able to include these by going to the Advanced tab of your connection, and in the Misc section, setting the IncludeMessage property to True. This will allow Sync to include message body content and attachment data when retrieving data. Regarding additional functionality, please see the link below for further information on the data that the Email driver can retrieve. (Note that while the below link is for the JDBC driver rather than Sync, the data will be the same. It seems there's an issue with loading the Sync docs at the moment.)
