This error is thrown by the Connect Cloud Power BI connector. Connect Cloud is our cloud data virtualization service and Power BI ships with a built-in connector for it. This error is usually the result of using this built-in connector rather than one of the standalone Power BI connectors installed separately from our website.
If you are attempting to use an installed Power BI connector rather than Connect Cloud, you will need to open Power BI and go to Get Data → CData [Data Source].
