Hello,

I will really appreciate your help with below question related to version upgrade.

Our team is planning to upgrade DBAmp version from  4.1.8.to V2022.While going thorugh release notes ,came across with statement:

“Using DBAmp with SSIS has been removed. We recommend you use the CData SSIS product.”

Does it means that,We will not be able to execute DBAmp  SQL server stored procedures through SSIS packages that we have installed on our side that we are using currently?  If yes, what we can use,do we need to buy some new product.

Thanks You

“Using DBAmp with SSIS has been removed. We recommend you use the CData SSIS product.” is there because DBAmp no longer uses the DBAmp.DBAmp provider, rather using either Microsoft OLE DB Driver for SQL Server or Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server. Therefore, if your SSIS packages use the DBAmp.DBAmp provider, they will no longer be supported with the new version.

However, if your SSIS packages are connecting through the linked server set up with DBAmp, and running queries or executing stored procedures installed in a database, then that will still be fine! It sounds like you are in this case, so if that is true, you should be good to go.
