We're excited to announce the launch of the CData Arc Q2 2026 release (v26.2), delivering powerful new capabilities that modernize how teams secure, automate, and manage their integration workflows. This release brings OAuth 2.0 support for public API endpoints, a significantly enhanced version control experience, the AI Connector reaching general availability, and a complete connector UI refresh - all designed to make Arc faster to work with and easier to trust at enterprise scale.
Here's what's new in this release:
🛡️OAuth 2.0 for Public API Endpoints
- Arc now supports OAuth 2.0 authentication for public endpoints including the Admin API, Webhook connector, API Connector, and Flow API so you can secure integrations using industry standard auth rather than user generated tokens.
- Client credentials are exportable and importable, and existing IP restrictions apply to OAuth token requests and resource access alike.
🗂️ More Powerful Version Control
- You can now restore individual files from a previous commit directly in the Arc interface - a targeted recovery option that doesn't require a full revert.
- The Commit History table now shows a banner with a Pull button when remote changes are available - a quality-of-life improvement that lets you pull updates without hunting for the footer control.
- Pull and Discard Changes operations are written to Application and Audit logs, giving administrators a full record of when and by whom configuration changes were applied or rolled back.
🤖 AI Connector is Now Generally Available
- AI-powered integration is no longer a beta experiment - the Arc AI Connector is production-ready, fully supported, and built for real workloads.
- Your team can now choose from a broader set of AI providers, including the newly added Anthropic Claude and xAI Grok, without leaving the connector UI.
🎨 A Fresh New Look
- The wait is over - every connector has now gotten the new design treatment. With a fresh, modern look across all connectors, Arc has never looked better.
🔗 Expanded Connectivity
- Shared Connection support for the REST, Email Send, and Email Receive connectors means one OAuth credential shared across as many connectors as you need - no more redundant setup.
- The Admin API now exposes a Flow API endpoint, letting you list and retrieve Flow APIs in a workspace programmatically.
- The Flow API now supports passing message metadata via HTTP headers as an alternative to the query string, keeping sensitive values out of server logs.
- Support for Anthropic Claude and xAI Grok joins the platform's growing list of AI providers, giving you more flexibility to choose the model that best fits your use case across AI-powered features.
- By popular demand, we added a dedicated Discard connector - a clean, purpose-built way to drop unwanted messages in branch flows and keep your flows nice and neat.
⚙️ Performance and Stability Improvements
- Under the hood, file system performance improvements, connection pooling optimizations, and a range of bug fixes and stability improvements round out the release.
