New Driver Release Announcement for 2024 Q2! 

Hello CData Community!  We’re thrilled to announce the release of our Drivers for 2024 Q2, marking the debut of our major 2024 version (v24.0)! You can now access the new builds on our website and generate licenses for the 2024 version through our licensing site: CData Drivers.  What’s New?  • New Drivers: We’ve added support for CVent, HubDB, and BitBucket. • Rewritten Drivers: Marketo and AzureDevOps have been completely revamped for improved performance and capabilities.  Deprecations  As we move forward, we’ve deprecated the following drivers: Bugzilla, Freshbooks, Streak, QB POS, Xero Workflow Max, and the FireDAC edition.  Upgrade to 2024  All new feature development will be focused on the 2024 version. New to CData: Excel Limitation question for consulting firm

Hello, I am new to the cdata community and am in the process of learning what it’s all about! There is an Excel limitation issue that plagues most PE and consulting firms. When trying to aggregate many (50+) financial models into one dynamic model, Excel cannot handle it. I’ve been trying to do research around this topic, and have come up empty handed. I’ve tried reaching out to people at Microsoft with no luck (btw if you know someone who works at Microsoft who might be able to answer this question, I would love the connection). I stumbled across cdata and Dataverse and was wondering if this might present a solution to the problem. I still have much digging to do, but I think some kind of cloud computing the answer I’m going for. Let me know if I’m way off base with thinking Dataverse might solve this issue, or if it seem viable. Thank you!

QuickBooks company file of different version won't connect

I recently copied over a company file from our production server to test server. The company file from the production server is of a different QuickBooks version than QuickBooks on the test server. When testing the connection within the Remote Connector, I keep running into different error messages stating the connection cannot be made. Why can’t I connect?

In the ever-evolving world of data management, we are all in the same boat, navigating through a sea of data sources and security challenges. The recent report from CData,"Data Connectivity: The Missing Link for IT,” paints a vivid picture of this landscape. As we dive into the findings, I would love to hear your thoughts on these burning issues. The survey asked 550 Operations and IT decision-makers at organizations over 200 employees about their data access pain points. This is what we discovered:  Organizations are managing dozens to hundreds of different data sources.  Ops professionals feel ill-equipped to access and analyze their data, but don’t want to bother IT with burdensome requests for data. This often leads them to ignore critical data sets in their decision-making processes.  As it stands, IT is already struggling to fulfill an increasing number of data requests, and technical hurdles and security concerns over shared data are the main culprits.   Managing data ecosys
