I’m trying to deploy an SSIS package to my server, and receiving the error “file:FileService SFTP Client Error during operation 'DOWNLOAD': The specified directory could not be created” server side.

This runs without any issues from my developer. The service account has access to the folder (I also tried running the package with my AD account and got the same error). I’m kind of running out of ideas where to look. Does anyone else have ideas where to look?

@Derk , Thanks for reaching out to us.

Based on the error message, the issue you are facing could be due to several reasons; for example:

  • The path that you have provided does not exist.

  • Insufficient permissions to create a folder in the specified location.

  • The parameters passed while executing the Download stored procedure are not in the correct format. Can be syntax issue as well

Could you please review and verify the above points are correct?

If everything appears to be in order, we will need some additional details to investigate further. Specifically, please provide:

  • The exact stored procedure command you are executing.

  • A log file captured with verbosity level 3.

  • Error message screenshots or screenshots illustrating your use case.

Kindly send these details to [email protected]. Once we receive them, our team will review the information and get back to you as soon as possible.
