Can anyone tell me how to ? I can connect to unprotected excel files, but it says “directory not found” when trying to open password protected ones. I have tried to provide password in various property fileds as well as tried to change “authscheme” but no avail.

Unfortunately you will not be able to work with password-protected files as we do not support these with our products. The reason for this is because password-protected Excel sheets involve a different file structure that is proprietary to Microsoft, so it's not something we can possibly accommodate.
