set default Schema for SQL Server

Is there a way to set a default Schema to default to when saving information into SQL server? I know how to do it by each table but find my self forgetting from time to time.

Prod Flag - EDIFACT Connector

When I use the EDIFACT connector for sending the outbound EDIFACT messages, there is option to enable to include Test Indicator, thus it include “1” as test indicator at UNB 11.UNA:+.? CData Sync error when creating a source connection to SQL Server

I’m encountering an error in CData Sync when I try to create and test a source connection. The complete error message is Connection open failed: [500] Failed to login 'SERVERNAME', Cannot open database 'DBNAME' requested by the login. The login failed. Login failed for user ‘user’. What is the requirement for the SQL server so that CData can establish a connection? Also, are there any logs in CData we can check that has more details about the error?The documentation does not say anything required from the source other than the server and login credentials.

Sage Intacct Sync: tables vs views

We are currently implementing CData to sync to a data warehouse. I’m not non-techy guy on the team and we’re trying to figure out the tables and views that are listed in the Sage Intacct Connector for CData Sync - Data Model.Are these the only tables/views available? Also, what’s the different between a table and a view? Why would a Gldetail and Glentry view, which should have the same columns, be different?Thanks!Steven

How to loop comma seperated values in XML node into multiple XML nodes with each value in?

Hi, We have an XML file that contains a node called /Items/delivery_header/delivery_line_item/serial_numbers and in that node we have a list of serial numbers separated by commas if there is more than one (e.g. 1 serial would just be XYZABC but 2 or more would be XYZABC,XYZDEF). Is there a way on the destination XML to create a loop that can iterate through the comma separated values and create XML nodes like the following: for a single serial number SerialNumber ManufacturerVersion = XYZABC or for multiple serial number SerialNumber ManufacturerVersion = XYZABCSerialNumber ManufacturerVersion = XYZDEF I have got as far as the below in the XML Map designer, I assume that I need to use a Loop with the nodes under it, but not sure what to use to split the values out, populate the ManufacturerVersion and then repeat with the next value: Any help would be appreciated. Post-job event to send email if job finishes 0 rows

I’d like to get information if certain job finishes successfully, but 0 rows are replicated. I found snippet that send email, but how can I write an “if query” that catches only those scheduled jobs that I want? Getting Errors during replication

Hi, since two weeks we are getting error when replicating all of our salesforce objects. The error does occur randomly not specific to an object. DBAmp upgrade with SSIS

Hello,I will really appreciate your help with below question related to version upgrade.Our team is planning to upgrade DBAmp version from 4.1.8.to V2022.While going thorugh release notes ,came across with statement:“Using DBAmp with SSIS has been removed. We recommend you use the CData SSIS product.” Does it means that,We will not be able to execute DBAmp SQL server stored procedures through SSIS packages that we have installed on our side that we are using currently? If yes,what we can use,do we need to buy some new product. Thanks You

Advanced Job Options not working for CData Sync

Hi,I have set Additional Options to TransactionSize=100 and Batch Size to 50 in the Job’s advanced section. My understanding is that setting a Transaction Size will commit the rows at whatever number is assigned, so in my case when 100 records have been cached, those are committed to the database.Unfortunately, the job is not saving any records to the Microsoft SQL destination table for one of the source tables. When I turn on verbose logging, I can see in the logs that 10000+ records have been cached, because I can see the data from those records in the log file. There are other tables which are successfully being populated. Just this one is not. When it errors out at some 20kish row the job ends and there is no data in my destination table. How do I make the job save data it is caching to the table before the error is thrown?

TIP: Renaming files during a flow

Ran across this while looking at the Snowflake connector for Sync’s documentation.(i.e. help.rst#Snowflake-Source) C’mon guys, you can do better than this. ;-) It’s just an example -- but someone should be taking a pass through all the documentation to look for unhelpful stuff like this, and fix it.

arc:enum Can it take a dynamic range?

In a Script connector, based on a value I’ve calculated earlier in the script (numberofpallets) , I need to repeat an XML structure multiple times. api.rsc/sendFile/ - Can I use it to release files?

HiI have order files coming in which are named <ordernumber>.xmlBut I need to hold them until they are triggered by another real world event.I am thinking of fetching them and then holding them in a connector with Automation Send turned off. Separately, I have status files coming in which I can use to trigger the release of the order file. I’ll inspect the status file and if it contains a certain status I can grab the <ordernumber> from the status file. Can I use api.rsc/sendFile/ to release a file which is queued in a connector by name? Is there a better way? I don’t really want to manage it through a database table.

Major release upgrade hesitation

I am still running Arc Version 23.3.8725.0 and want to upgrade to 24, but I am hesitant. There’s been a lot of upgrades to the UI and I’m concerned about my workspaces blowing up - as I have them all carefully laid out for ease of use.Another concern I have is deprecated script functions. For instance, I use the After Send events on dozens of connectors to trigger other flows the “old fashion way”<arc:set attr="target.ConnectorId" value="SOME_CONNECTOR" /><arc:call op="portReceiveFile" in="target" />From what I understand, this method will not work in the latest release. This has been replaced with a more secure token-based approach:<arc:call op="api.rsc/receiveFile?" ConnectorID="SOME_CONNECTOR" httpmethod="POST" authtoken="admin:xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx" />I have so much ArcScript written I’m concerned there are other places throughout hundreds of connectors where I may run into issues. Using Sync pre events to run sync loops

Hello!I know that I can define an out environment variable in pre-job event and use that in the task replication query (documented here and here excellently).I’m probably stretching here but can I define that out-variable to read from a file or any other source and then run the sync task for ALL values of that variable?
