Google now requires OAuth 2.0 to access Gmail, and my SSIS package had stopped working.I did quite extensive research, but still can’t figure out how to make my CData Gmail Connection Manager to access my company’s Gmail Inbox. Can someone please provide a guidance (ideally step-by-step) on how to make my SSIS package query the Gmail Inbox using either CData SSIS Components for Gmail or CData SSIS Components for Email.

I am trying to setup Connect Spreadsheets to Sage One (renamed to Sage Business Cloud Accounting) but when I want to setup the authentication via the basic setup I don’t get South Africa as a region and can therefor not authenticate to our company in Sage. Any assistance would be appreciated.

When creating a custom List in SharePoint, whether through the SharePoint GUI or using the CData driver, several default columns are added automatically. One of these is the “ID” column, which is the primary key for the List.Although the “ID” column is marked as read-only in the column metadata, SharePoint does not consistently enforce this restriction during data insertion. Hi Community!I’m trying to create a source to sharepoint where we can navigate to a specific file saved on the sharepoint location and open the contents of a csv or xlsm file. Is this possible? I have the sharepoint connection created using AzureAD authentication method. Using a query such as this:  SELECT * FROM [Sharepoint_testing].[REST].[Financial Models] where Name like '%.xlsm%' I can get the various file names contained in the Sharepoint location, and see things like file size, modify date, etc. At this point, I can’t figure out how to use the file name retrieved and then query it to get at the contents of it… any help with this?  TIA for the assist, i appreciate it.

As of Version: 24.0.9190 of the CData Drivers and Connectors for SharePoint, the following new views have been added to the REST schema:Sites: The new Sites view retrieves all sites across the SharePoint domain. AllLists: Retrieves lists from all SharePoint sites and subsites within the domain. We are using the ADO.Net QuickBooks Online driver which we have used for many years. Recently we are no longer able to connect with the QBO Profit and Loss statement. I wanted to check if the CDATA JDBC Driver aids in obtaining the filtered list based on SAP modules or an archive object, as it is quite difficult to identify tables based on any standard SAP module or standard archive object.I therefore want to retrieve the list of all tables and views that are utilized in, say, the FI module or FI_Documents, as part of my requirement. I created a custom report that we’re using as a source in a Power BI semantic model. The intent is that our financial controller developed the Saved Search in Netsuite to grab the transactions desired. With that as a data source, we should be able to reconcile pretty quickly and shouldn’t see variances between the Saved Search results in Netsuite and the data pulled in Connect AI - however that’s not the case.Initially this data exclusion seemed to be limited to Credit Card transactions - a relatively small number, around 3000 rows. I created a work-around to get the transactions into our data model, but i’m encountering the issue again with transactions that seem to be standard Journal Entries. My initial through was perhaps this was a permissions issue and maybe the access token created uses a restricted account - when i set it up it was the first time, i didn’t really know what i was doing, etc… SO i created a new token using the Netsuite account I use to run t

Recently, a new subfolder file access feature was released for the CData Microsoft Excel drivers, enabling seamless retrieval of Excel files stored in subdirectories of a root resource folder. Key parameters include:IncludeSubdirectories – Enables scanning of subfolders within the root folder to locate Excel files. DirectoryRetrievalDepth – Defines how deep the scan goes within subdirectories. Use -1 to scan all subfolders within the root directory. Greetings,I am in the process of creating an advice report to a corporate client who is interested if CData Connect Spreadsheet is a right tool for her needs.The following features are required:Load data from multiple backend Excel spreadsheets to a report sheet in Excel. Update the report sheet and push updates to the backend sheets if needed. Create joins using backend spreadsheets and display them in the report in Excel.  Joins should be created in GUI without using SQL queries. Do you think these objectives can be effectively achieved using CData add-in for Excel? Thanks,Eugene
