CData Drivers

We currently have configured Google Analytics 4 with custom dimensions. We want to get that custom dimension out of GA4 using the CDATA Google Analytics provider with Google Analytics 4 selected. We get data out of the correct property, so everything seems to be connected right. But these are all standards reports so it seems, I want to get custom data out of it.What should I do or what query can I use to get 1 custom dimension (customer_number), with 1 metric (event count) filtered by page_path contains 'example’ and another custom dimension (asm_user) <> 'null’?

I stumbled upon CData API Server, installed it, and was immediately impressed!  It seems to be a fantastic product - very simple and intuitive.  However, I was left with a few immediate questions:I can’t find any real documentation for it.  Is there some? Which forum should I use to post questions or look for answers? Can I change the naming convention of the resources created?  It appears they are named “[database]_[schema]_tableorview” by default.  I’d like to drop the “[database]_[schema]_”. Is there any kind of bulk editing action on the resources?  I have a lot of resources and I’d like to remove some operations on all of them.If the resources are controlled by some kind of config file (e.g. json or XML), and I can find it, I can probably do the bulk edits myself.Thanks in advance, and thanks again for a GREAT product!

I am trying to connect my Neo4j Data with SQL server. I found that there are 2 options:1. CData Connect 2. CData ODBCBut for both I cannot connect my Neo4j Data. The following message is being shown:“Test connection failed. Error: Testing connection failed. Inner Error: Test Connection: Connection closed.”

If you are using an ODBC driver and wish to execute one of its stored procedures in Access, you will need to go to Create -> Query Design, and select Pass-Through. Hi, I am trying to use the NETSUITE ODBC driver within Visual Studio SSIS project, everything connects good but when selecting some tables, I noticed that there are some missing fields in the table, for example in the table item, the field subsidiary is missing:   But in the log file, the json has it:  Should I need to set something else in the configuration? How can I solve this? Thanks.

Hi , I am getting error while connecting GA4(Google Analytics 4) to Tableau desktop using cdata connect with cdata  connector and GoogleAnalytics by cdata.   If anyone has some suggestion on this or anyone is trying to achieve the same then let me know. Regards,Pankaj 

ObjectiveTrying to use a cData DSN in Excel to connect to an OLAP cube in Azure Analysis Services on macOS. I can successful setup the DSN in iODBC Data Manager and it tests successfully, but when I try to use the DSN in Excel I get a “Could not bind server socket: Operation not permitted”.   I have screen-grabbed all my steps below in the attached PDF.  

This error is thrown when querying Snowflake and indicates that a Snowflake object is unable to be accessed due to a permissions issue. To resolve this, please check that your user has access to (and that none of the user's roles are preventing access to) the Warehouse and Database listed in the connection string, as well as any specified Schema and Tables. Additionally, please check that these values have the correct spelling and casing (as Snowflake is case-sensitive).

Working on an Integration project with SAP Concur as source system. Need some clarity with the API versions and modules supported by JDBC driver. for SAP Concur. 

We are a new CData user, connecting Acumatica oData as the source to SQL Server OLE DB destination.  It works great for the initial configuration of the data flow, but we often change the underlying Acumatica query (i.e. add columns). I can’t seem to find a way to refresh the available columns in the CDdata Acumatica Source Editor screen.  If I click the preview button, the new columns appear there correctly with data, but how are the columns added to the Columns node of the Editor screen?  Along those lines, is there a way to refresh the list of available Generic Inquiries for new oData sources?  The first time you log into Visual Studio the list of available inquiries refreshes, but after that I have to just use the Advanced Editor and hand-write the name of the query.  Thanks for any feedback!

I am trying to insert a manual journal entry into Xero using below SQL insert statement. And I get the following error. “A validation exception occurred: The total Debits (1.50) must equal total credits (0.00)" It suggests that cdata is not processing it as one API post but as 2 posts and Xero spits back an error because it expects both lines in the POST api. INSERT into ManualJournals ( JournalLine_AccountCode, JournalLine_LineAmount, Narration) VALUES (620, 1.50, 'Test1'), (611, -1.50, 'Test1');Any ideas would be appreciated.

Hi!I’m using the Excel add-in to connect to Zoho Books. I would like to get all “BillLineItems” from Zoho. The BillLineItems is a standard view or table.It is not possible to use the SELECT * command in order to retrieve all lineitems. It is required to a specify a BillID (key) number in order to get the data for that specific bill from this table (as I understand).Maybe it is my lack of knowledge of SQL. Do you have any suggestions how to get all BillLineitems? Thanks in advanve for your response.Regards,Marc

When double clicking on the CData source, I am getting the following error.  “Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.DataWarehouse, Version=17.3.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=89845dcd8080cc91' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.” 

Issue encountered while extracting data using CDATA JDBC driver in Snaplogic. Specifically, we are receiving the following error message: "Class java.lang.Boolean cannot be cast to class java.lang.Number (java.lang.Boolean and java.lang.Number are in module java.base of loader 'bootstrap')" Thanks

We are getting the error message when we tried to install the JDBC on Linux machine.Error:Downloading license data...Error downloading license: Connection reset We were given the linux setup link to download the setup.zip file, after downloading we are not being able to install the JDBC driver on Linux Machine.we are using-  “java -jar cdata.jdbc.xero.jar -license” command from linux terminal to install the driver.Please suggest.Thanks.

We need to request for transfer of the license from one machine to another, for that we need to get the NodeId of both the machine, the new machine is Linux where we need to transfer the license, as per the Cdata tool to get the NodeId :- https://www.cdata.com/lic/nodeid.exe we can get the NodeId from windows system, but it this tool is not working for Linux system, we also tried ‘Wine’ to run this .exe but we did not got the NodeId, can anybody suggest how to get the NodeId from Linux system.Thanks in advance

I need to locate the file path my tool is referencing the CData JDBC Driver from. I needed to manually move it in the past to a new location outside the installation directory to get the tool to use it, but after time have forgotten where that path was.
