Implementing Bearer Token in a Webhook

Hi CData Community,    I am trying to add another layer of security for a webhook. I would like to do the following:    1. Pass @authtoken query parameter for CData API auth    2. Pass Authorization via headers    Unfortunately, I am getting an error Error: Authentication is required for access to this resource.It seems like the webhook first checks the Authorization header for CData API auth before checking the query parameter @authtoken.But I need the Authorization header for my additional security. Is this implementation possible?Thanks!

How to use httpReceive operation in Script connector

The standard documentation in https://cdn.cdata.com/help/AZH/mft/op_HTTPReceive.html shows the elements needed to use the httpReceive operation in scripting. Is there documentation or examples available to show the structure or syntax on how to use this operation?

EDI acknowledgments provide an important aspect of the EDI standard: a non-repudiation guarantee. In other words, since you’re alerted when your business partners receive your EDI documents, they can’t later claim that they didn’t. Arc simplifies the process of generating and processing EDI acknowledgements by handling the details behind-the-scenes. Here's all you need to understand to ensure that Arc is configured correctly. EDI Connector pairs Arc’s EDI Connectors come in pairs – one for inbound EDI documents and one for outbound EDI documents. Each connector in this pair is configured for the same trading partner, but some settings are mirrored (e.g. the ‘Receiver ID’ from one is the ‘Sender ID’ for the other). Your EDI Connector pairs need to work together to automate EDI acknowledgements. Possible to get element name via xpath

Is it possible to use the xpath formatter to get the name of the current element?Currently I am interested to get the name of the root element and get the content of an attribute on said element.

Calling VBScript from within CData Arc (Windows)

The sysExecute operation in ArcScript can be used to call processes on the local system as long as you have access to the process, and this includes VBScript files that you create yourself.  sysExecute To call a VBScript, you’ll want to use cscript as the name of the process to execute, and pass the path to the vbs file as an argument. Can I use ArcScript in the Notify Connector?

Dynamic paths on File Connector

I need to pick up from a different path each day, so I need to have paths like //SERVER/PathToRoot/ddmmyyddmmyy should be today’s date I see I can use %Header:xxxx% but I think that will only work for sending out file, not collecting files.Is there a way to set a Header when collecting files? Are there any examples using a script and fileListDir ?

Does "Delete All Transactions" work?

 My flow had some errors in it which means i have a large amount of messages which I don’t want to be pushed any further in my flow.Does this option actually work? It doesn’t seem to do anything, therefore I am having to delete 500 at a time manually

Changing XML input in a script

I have several XML documents with different formats, so I can’t use XML mapping. I have been able to do some manipulations with a mixture of XSLT and scripts to add to the message header.What I need to do now is remove some parts of the XML tree based on some logic that’s not possible in XSLT alone. Has anyone tried this or has an example?

Fetching data from an external API endpoint since last poll

We have a flow that needs to poll an external API  “list” endpoint for new entries in the list.Over time the list will grow, so we don’t want to read the entire list every time. We’re only interested iin new items. We can ask for entries only created after a given time (a `from_time` parameters is supported by the endpoint.) Is there a way to set the `from_time` parameter based on the last time the REST Connector ran? Or is there another approach?

Renaming File With No Extension

I’m just trying to authenticate with an API Endpoint which expects a fixed token to be passed as the Authorization HTTP header.Does this look like it should work? I am unable to bind my server on port XXXX (which was previously used for the embedded web server) on Windows

One issue that comes up infrequently but can be inscrutable to troubleshoot is a situation where you are unable to start the web server hosting CData Arc on a port that you have previously used for the embedded web server provided with the application. For the purposes of this thread, we will refer to port 8001 here, since this is the default port assigned to the embedded web server distributed with CData Arc. Most commonly, issues with binding to a specific port are due to an existing process that is already listening on that port, but you may find that even after you run a check for ports in the listening statenetstat -a You do not see anything listening on that port. One possibility is that the URL for the port you are selecting has already been reserved on the system and cannot be assigned to another server. To check for this, run:  netsh http show urlacl This will list all of the reserved entries on the machine. If the URL that you are trying to bind shows up like this: Reserved U

Custom Signature Authentication in the Webhook Connector
