I’m using the cdata connector to load from snowflake to Microsoft dynamics dataverse target.I have tested the following approach:I have tested with JDBC_IC connection and the reject records are captured in error file but processes the good records. While running with the JDBC V2 connection the mapping fails when it encounters a record and rolls back all record.Any suggestions on creating error record file with JDBC V2 would be very helpful

Hi, Our CData installation started as a proof of concept using the default built-in application database. CData is now a critical part of our data infrastructure and we’d like to migrate the application database to a more robust platform.Is there a tool or process available to migrate the default application database to SQL server?

I have a project where I need to retrieve data from a RESTful API. I have already created my request script and tested it in POSTMan.  I would like to retrieve data from the RESTful API’s response, input the data into SQL Server Management Studio.  My Question is what is the appropriate flow of connectors to build this? The Goal is to use a Webhook to retrieve data from the RESTful API, then be able to import that data into tables in SQL Server Management studio.   

In a Script connector, based on a value I’ve calculated earlier in the script (numberofpallets) , I need to repeat an XML structure multiple times. I am trying to understand the driver behavior when connecting to an Azure DataBricks workspace using AzureServicePrincipal. Given the Azure Service principal and secret it seems to first obtain the Azure AD token and then it tries to call DataBricks REST API using the Azure AD token to obtain a Personal Access Token for the service principal. This is a problem because we do not allow personal access tokens in our environment. Is there a reason why it cannot use the Azure AD token directly to obtain access? Appreciate any insights or help.

HiI have order files coming in which are named <ordernumber>.xmlBut I need to hold them until they are triggered by another real world event.I am thinking of fetching them and then holding them in a connector with Automation Send turned off. Separately, I have status files coming in which I can use to trigger the release of the order file. I’ll inspect the status file and if it contains a certain status I can grab the <ordernumber> from the status file. Can I use api.rsc/sendFile/  to release a file which is queued in a connector by name? Is there a better way? I don’t really want to manage it through a database table.

HiPlease anyone explain the licensing requirement for Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) using CDATA jdbc driver for excel? We have purchased the cdata jdbc excel driver for ODI however not sure if we can use the license on both PROD and non PROD servers as its two different servers and two ODI agents. Do we need to generate the license file on both server from one license? and also we have local agent and server agent in ODI so how do we use the licence wisely?  How do we make use of the license on both prod & non-prod and local & server agents in ODI?  ThanksRaja

I am still running Arc Version 23.3.8725.0 and want to upgrade to 24, but I am hesitant.  There’s been a lot of upgrades to the UI and I’m concerned about my workspaces blowing up - as I have them all carefully laid out for ease of use.Another concern I have is deprecated script functions.  For instance, I use the After Send events on dozens of connectors to trigger other flows the “old fashion way”<arc:set attr="target.ConnectorId" value="SOME_CONNECTOR" /><arc:call op="portReceiveFile" in="target" />From what I understand, this method will not work in the latest release.  This has been replaced with a more secure token-based approach:<arc:call op="api.rsc/receiveFile?" Hello!I know that I can define an out environment variable in pre-job event and use that in the task replication query (documented here and here excellently).I’m probably stretching here but can I define that out-variable to read from a file or any other source and then run the sync task for ALL values of that variable? I am using CDATA SFTP control flow CDATA-sftp-download procedure to download all the files from SFTP server to sql server , its working fine when the files are available on SFTP server but getting  error unable to populate result columns for single row type, query returned a empty set  when trying to execute the when the files are not present on server.Any idea how to solve this error. Thanks,

I’m using the Dynamics365 ODBC Driver with SQL Gateway to create a Linked Server. How can i write to sub-directories in AzureDataLake. I am able to write to parent folder but sub-directories are not working

In the QuickBooks Desktop connector, I noticed that there is a column reference for Accounts Payable in the header section. However, I couldn't find a column for line references to accounts, such as Cost of Goods Sold, Fixed Assets, or other account types typically associated with bill line items. Can anyone explain why this might be the case or if there's a workaround to retrieve this information?Your insights would be greatly appreciated!

Is there a way to discard an empty message?I have a misbehaving HTTP endpoint which is causing me to get intermittent empty messages going through the flow.These end up clogging up the logs.It would be good if I could detect empty messages in the flow and discard them before they affect anything downstream

Hi I need to pass some XML through an XMLMap connector, but I also want to preserve the original XML input, for later use.My thought was to do this in a script before it hits the XMLMap But I don’t know how to copy the Script connector input, straight out to the output copy the Script connector input into a message headerThoughts

I am creating a simple ETL package in Visual Studio 2022. I have a data flow using Cdata DataSource, and an OLE DB as the destination. I open the cdata netsuite source editor, select the transaction via and hit ok and visual studio just sits there and hangs. 

I am using CData Connector (ODBC)  with PowerBI to access my data (Zoho CRM). Is there a way to configure a scheduled refresh? Is this even something that can help me?

We have our subscription active; and installed Delphi 12/Athena and downloaded the 2023 components.But in the installer there is no option to install in RAD Studio 12.0 Athena:Will there be an update for this version 12?Regards

We have a workspace for each customer we have and there we mostly do a mapping from their interface messages to our own format.  We are not using views, but I am thinking of starting to use them to make a difference between the incoming and outgoing flow to have a better overview. Are you using views, and yes, how are you using them?  Can you also move connectors from 1 view to another view?

Hello, I am new to the cdata community and am in the process of learning what it’s all about! There is an Excel limitation issue that plagues most PE and consulting firms. When trying to aggregate many (50+) financial models into one dynamic model, Excel cannot handle it. I’ve been trying to do research around this topic, and have come up empty handed. I’ve tried reaching out to people at Microsoft with no luck (btw if you know someone who works at Microsoft who might be able to answer this question, I would love the connection). I stumbled across cdata and Dataverse and was wondering if this might present a solution to the problem. I still have much digging to do, but I think some kind of cloud computing the answer I’m going for. Let me know if I’m way off base with thinking Dataverse might solve this issue, or if it seem viable. Thank you!
